NABORI BOTTOM BIJA
about Naborí Bija
The Naborí were the everyday people in the Taíno society. They are the farmers, hunters, fishers. They were the fuel of the society. This bikini is inspired by the lines and simplicity of the minimal clothing details of the Taínos, as well as their imagination and creativity.
Bija is a red seed the Taínos used as sunscreen and presumably, make up. They used the word to refer to red. This strong and stunning red is the perfect color to exemplify their passionate and romantic view of the world.
